I'm a proud native of Ottawa, Canada and The Cayman Islands. I trained in the U.K., before moving to the Big Apple to go to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. I was a member of the 2015/2016 Academy Company (led by Artistic Director, Jonathan Bolt), performing back-to-back plays in rep, and had the super-sweet honour of learning with the likes of Tony Award winner, Frank Langella.
Theatre is my most favourite thing.
While acting is my main passion, I'm also a co-founder of The Dionysian, a printed playwriting journal that publishes new short plays, interviews and visual art. As well as the four issues we have released, we host readings around the city and keep up on the pulse of the best playwrights on the theatre scene with our blog. I also have a degree in English Literature from York University in Toronto, in case you ever want to get despairingly pretentious with me and discuss Russian literature.
When I'm not on stage, you can find me writing, running, practicing or teaching yoga, nerding out about wine, and unsuccessfully avoiding bags of tortilla chips. Other notable skills include: the execution of a double pirouette that will bring a tear to your eye, riveting Shania Twain karaoke and excellent penmanship.
